Hand-to-hand combat between opponents is based on performing basic blows and combos characteristic for each hero. Among them are Electro, Rhino, and even Venom, in which the player can play the role. Young Parker must maneuver between his family home, the university, and the building that houses the Daily Bugle, while fighting thugs plundering the city. Thanks to this, we have the opportunity to visit the most characteristic locations for both New York and comic book places.
The player has the opportunity to accompany Peter not only during the fight against crime, but also during his studies, at work in a publishing house and during meetings with Mary Jane Watson.
The plot focuses on Peter Parker's first steps as Spider-Man. "Ultimate Spider-Man" is a third-person game referring to the adventures of the spider superhero, which were described in the comic book of the same title.
